  I designed our logo that month, it was the first time anyone saw an M with a rainbow and Star and it looked pretty Good. Today it's a well known symbol in Baseball circles throughout the East Coast. From a Dream to a Baseball Team, to a Non-Profit Corporation, (501 (c) (3) structure) to a web-site, to an annual YEAR BOOK that's in it's 6th year.

In 1999, we went in search of something that didn't exist in the Northeast. There were a hand full of Teams in the Tri-State region that played competitive Baseball and Traveled to play Regional and National Tournaments but, No Travel Team Leagues could be found.

That spring I met Marty Brown who was in charge of AAU in the Mid-Atlantic Region and Terry Schadler who was in charge of USSSA in NJ and Pa. Marty helped Maria and Me get Manchester Magic headed in the right direction before he retired from his position with AAU Baseball. Terry at that time was voted into the Baseball Chair for AAU too for the Mid-Atlantic Region. His Goal at the time was to start East Coast Tournament Baseball and start playing tournaments and travel leagues in the Tri-State area.

Today, Terry's organizations run the largest number of Tournaments and Leagues throughout the northeast.

It was a Great Learning experience those first two years when the whole thing was getting started. Baseball grew in the Northeast like the flowers of Spring and continues to grew with each passing year. Baseball is played year round today by many of the Teams that have sprung up over the last 3 or 4 years.

Lou Presutti and his Family were one of the first pioneers of Tournament Baseball games that was played for a week long Tournament at Cooperstown, NY , they called the location, Cooperstown Dreams Park, it opened the summer of 1996.

In the summer of 1999 I started to study the Dreams Park Tournament system and over the years watched as the Industry grew to what it is today, Dreams Park is SOLD OUT with a waiting list that extends hundreds of Teams long.  

 As Magic Baseball grew over those first few years it was the growth spurt of Youth Baseball throughout the entire country especially in the Northeast and New Jersey.

The name Magic... has been part of Me... for a long time, I think longer then I can remember, from a Lifetime before. Magic went with Manchester so we called the team, Manchester Magic Baseball and today we are well known as Magic Baseball.

Travel Baseball and Youth Tournaments are top notch today because of individuals like Lou Presutti and Terry Schadler and all those who were part of the growth of this industry.

In 2000 Magic Baseball came in 2nd in the Mid-Atlantic Region and 1st in 2001 and 2002. In 2001 we went to the AAU Nationals and was the only Team to represent the state of New Jersey. Our Goal has always been to have a Team of Boys that we could help develop their skills so that they could play Baseball at the High School level and beyond. We have a commitment to teach the game of Baseball, to Improve the Quality of Play, Teach Leadership on and off the field where Sportsmanship Leads the way in their Life.

We teach the game to the entire family. Travel Baseball is a Family deal if you’re going to get into it. There are MANY Sacrifices a Family has to make when you play the game to WIN.
