Dear Mr. Chairman / President,

My name is Maria Nametko.  I am the President of Manchester Magic Baseball, Inc. and the General Manager of our 12U and 15U baseball teams in the State of New Jersey.  In an effort to raise funds for our upcoming season and tournament schedule we ask for your financial support. 

Like all Independent Travel Tournament Baseball Teams, our major problem is raising money to pay tournament and league entrance fees.  We are not funded by any local organization because our boys are from throughout central and southern New Jersey.  We are a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation (Federal Tax I.D. #22-3755238), so your contributions will be tax deductible.  You will receive a receipt for your records stating your donation. Our Focus at this time is to Raise Money for Our 12 Year old Team going to play at Cooperstown Dreams Park the week of August 21st, 2005.

                                           PLEASE CONSIDER THIS REQUEST...

Our 2005 tournament schedule and estimated expenses are as follows:

1. 12U /  Cooperstown Dreams Park (Week of August 20th).  This is 6 days of baseball at the greatest youth baseball facility in the world.  The cost for just this trip is approximately $16,000 for our players and coaches.

2. 15u / State of New Jersey USSSA Tournament (1st week in June).  The team that finishes first will receive a bid for the USSSA National Tournament.

3. 15u / 4^th of July Blast by ECTB in Reading, Pennsylvania.  The best teams from throughout the eastern United States will play four days of baseball. The estimated cost for this tournament is $4,000 for our players and coaches.

4. 15u / Memorial Day Tournament by Marlboro Athletic Association.  This tournament is three days of baseball against some of the best teams in the state.  The estimated cost is $1,500 for our players and coaches.

Our teams consists of a wonderful mix of boys, we have a 12u Team that Steve Doyle is the Manager of this Team is really coming into their own. We have a 15u team that will be featured in most of our tournaments this season and will play in the USABL on Sundays.  We are affiliated with the following organizations: AAU (Amateur Athletic Union), USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association), and ECTB (East Coast Tournament Baseball) and the USABL. 

 Sponsors for Our 12u Team playing at Cooperstown Dream Park will have their Company name on their banner that will travel with them throughout the week at Dreams Park.  All Sponsors will receive a plaque with our 12u team picture on it from their trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park.  If you are a Manufacturer, we would consider an equipment or an apparel sponsorship for our team.

 I’m sure the boys would be thrilled to say they have a major Corporation like yours that took the time to reach out and help. It doesn’t have to be money, whatever you manufacture with your logo on it that they can use when they play their games will be Great. I understand you must receive of thousands of requests like this, we appreciate anything that you can do to help the Boys.
